I know, I know...but it is truly good! This recipe drops the calories from the original down to 165.6 per serving instead of 336.1. It is just as good and great for a winter's day. Ingredients

    Low Fat Cream of Mushroom soup, 1 can
    Low Fat Cream of Chicken soup, 1 can
    2 1/2 cups water
    4 cups of Fat Free Chicken Broth
    8 oz can of sauerkraut drained
    1 onion diced
    1 can carrots or two carrots sliced
    1 can sliced potatoes or two potatoes washed and cut up
    1 pound of low fat or Turkey Smoked Sausage, sliced
    1 tsp dried dill weed
    1 tsp minced garlic (optional)
    Pepper to taste


Directions

Wash and cut up vegetables. Brown the onions and carrots in a pan or skillet. Transfer to a crock pot and add the rest of the ingredients and cook for 8 hrs. or Transfer to a big soup pot and add the other ingredients and cook until veggies tender (about an hr. )

Makes 8 servings about 1.5 cups each
