You can make this hot beverage in a few minutes in the microwave It has an invigorating taste, and can ward off colds, flu and sore throats, also a remedy for indigestion and nausea. Ingredients

    1 - 12 oz mug or cup of water
    2 or 3 slices of fresh ginger root
    sweetener to taste
    1 lemon slice
    -------------------
    1/2 tbl honey
    If you add honey add 40 cals

Directions

Fill a 12 mug with tap water, add 2 or 3 very thin slices of fresh ginger. Microwave on "beverage" twice or three times.
Allow ginger to steep about 5 mins. Add sweetener or honey and a slice of orange or lemon. If you add honey be sure to add 40 calories.

One serving - 12 oz hot ginger tea
