Introduction
These are made to be frozen and eaten later. A quick bite, and yummy to boot. These are made to be frozen and eaten later. A quick bite, and yummy to boot.Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
-
Boneless Skinless Chicken Tenders 3 pieces
Mission Carb Balance Whole Wheat Burrito Size Tortilla, 6
Safeway Artichoke Pesto Sauce 1/4 cup
Lucerne Colby Jack Cheese 1/2 cup
Olive Oil 1 tbsp
Directions
Boil chicken until no longer pink. Once done, cut chicken into small pieces. Place olive oil in frying pan, then the chicken. You only want to slightly brown the chicken. Don't forget to stir occasionally. Once chicken is done, take out of pan and set aside.
There should be enough Pesto sauce for each tortilla. Place in even quantities onto the tortilla's. Add a small handful of chicken onto the tortilla's. Spread the cheese on each tortilla, then fold.
Wrap it in freezer paper (or something of the sorts) and when you're ready to eat it, place it into the microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes 30 seconds (depending on the microwave)
There are definately ways to lower the calories in this (whole wheat tortillas, etc), but this is how I made it initially.
