Introduction

This is more like the stuff we are all remember from our youth, but better and homemade. The beauty of this dish is it can be made the day before and left in the refrigerator until it is time to sit down to dinner. The beauty of this dish is it can be made the day before and left in the refrigerator until it is time to sit down to dinner.

Ingredients

    3 Cups Fresh Whole Cranberries
    1 Cup Sugar
    1 Cup Water
    1.5 ounces Whiskey

Directions

Place water,sugar, whiskey and cranberries in sauce pan, simmer stirring until sugar dissolves and cranberry skins pop. Simmer until liquid reduces slightly. Pour liquid through fine strainer, pressing liquid through strainer. Allow to cool completely, refrigerate preferably overnight.
