Introduction

Easy and yummy low cal flatbread to satisfy your pizza cravings! Easy and yummy low cal flatbread to satisfy your pizza cravings!

Ingredients

    2 ounces browned ground turkey
    1 T extra virgin olive oil
    1 Flatout Italian Herb Flatbread
    3 T No Salt canned tomatoes, pureed
    1 T oregano
    1/2 T basil
    1/4 c. parmesan cheese
    3 thin slices onion
    1/4 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1/4 c. Kraft fat free shredded mozzarella cheese


Directions

Place olive oil in small nonstick skillet. Weigh 2 ounces ground lean turkey and crumble in pan. While meat is cooking through, slice onions and mushrooms. Puree tomatoes in blender or food processor. Cover flatbread with tomato "sauce". Sprinkle with oregano, basil, and parmesan cheese. Cover seasoned sauce with sliced onions, mushrooms, turkey, and shredded cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes and eat hearty!

    I want to try this. How did you cook the flatbread? I mean was it directly on the rack, in an ungreased pan, in a pan with cooking spray? - 6/23/15

    So sorry I omitted the oven temperature! 375 degrees. :-)
