Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 tsp Olive oil
    1 tsp Garlic
    1/4 cup chopped onions
    1/4 Cup chopped Bell Peppers
    1/4 cup crumbled firm Tofu
    2 TBSP Nutritional Yeast
    1/2 tsp Vegetarian chicken buillion or powdered seasoning
    Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

Saute garlic, onion and Peppers in olive oil till tender. Crumble in tofu, add nutritional yeast and ceasonings and stir together. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Can be cooked uncovered if you prefer it drier.

    I thought this was quite good. I didn't have nutrional yeast (nor do I even know what it is yet...newbee vegetarian and cook), so don't know if I altered the taste in any way. I did add a splash of low sodium soy sauce, which gave it a little more depth to the flavor. I plan to make this again! - 10/4/09

    Nutritional yeast flakes are like b vitimins good ones for protien I believe .... very healthy! I use it in alot of my cooking. check health food stores. Seventh day adventist are vegeterians or vegans and other vegeterians or vegans . use this product alot. - 1/6/10
