Ingredients

    Olive Oil, 3 tbsp
    Walnuts, 1 cup, chopped
    *Salt, Redmond Real Salt Sea Salt (1/4 tsp.), 1 serving
    Pepper, black, 1 dash
    Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices
    *Imagine Organic No Chicken Broth, .0625 cup
    *Dried Onion Flakes, 1 tbsp
    *Parsley, dried, 2 tsp

Directions

This dish is really quick and easy.

Sauté the mushrooms and onion in the oil for 8 minutes.

After it is done cooking. Pour into a blender or food processor, adding walnuts, seasonings, and broth or water. Blend until smooth and adjust for taste.

Serve on matzo or crackers as a spread.

Makes a cup or so and eat as desired.

    Incredible!
    This is almost exactly the way I make my mock liver--more fattening than some, but also more flavor! (I do use fresh onion to sautee rather than dried, but everything else is the same down to the Imagine No-chick--the best!) - 7/3/12
