    1 pint blueberries
    1/2 lb strawberries
    1/4 c sugar
    1 t lemon juice
    zest from lemon (optional)
    1/4 c water

Directions

Dump everything into a heavy bottomed pan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium high and boil for 15 minutes, stirring every few minutes and scraping down the sides of the pan.

Great recipe! I used Truvia Baker's mix instead of sugar to save some calories. - 9/20/13

    Incredible!
This was awesome! I'm going to post the no-sugar-added version on here since that's how I made it. I didn't pay attention when I put it on my pancakes, but what does a serving size measure? I think I did 1/4-1/3c on two small pancakes. - 9/12/10
