Ingredients
-
Banana, fresh, 1 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long)
Apples, fresh, 2 medium (2-3/4" dia)
Cucumber (with peel), about 1/3 - 1/2 average sized
Baby Carrots, raw, 10 medium (or 2 whole medium carrots)
Kale, 2 cup, raw, chopped
Water, tap, 3 cup (24 fl oz)
Apple juice, unsweetened, 2 cups
Directions
In a high-speed blender (Vita-mix or Blendtech works great) please all ingredients listed (except apple juice) in order listed.
Blend on low just until incorperated, then move to high and blend of about 1 minute.
Makes about 64 oz. Divide into 4 servings and stir in Apple juice to taste.
If you do not have a high-speed blender you will need to spend a little extra time chopping all ingredients into small pieces. You may also need to cut the reciepe in half to fit into your blender.
Optional: I find adding fresh pineapple, mango, or papaya adds a great taste, and some variety.
