Ingredients


    * *Cannellini Beans, 1 can
    * plum Rose Smoked Ham Steaks, 2
    * Kale, 1/1/2 lbs
    * Onions, raw, 1 medium
    * Garlic, 4 cloves
    * Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices
    * Salt, 1 tsp
    * Pepper, black, 1 tbsp
    * Nutmeg, ground, 1 tsp
    * Swanson Beef Broth Low Sodium, 1 quart
    * *Barilla Elbow Macaroni, 1 cup
    * *Distilled White Vinegar, .3 tbsp
    * Brown Sugar, .3 tsp packed

Directions


Heat a soup pot over medium to medium-high heat. Add EVOO, a couple of turns of the pan. Add speck or bacon and crisp, 2-3 minutes. Add mushrooms and brown, 6-7 minutes. Add onions and garlic, and cook 5-6 minutes more to soften.

Wilt greens into pot and season with a little salt, lots of pepper and some nutmeg. Add beans, stock and water to pot and bring up to a boil. Add vinegar, brown sugar and pasta, reduce heat to low, rolling boil and cook until pasta is al dente.
