Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbls cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg (optional)
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup applesauce
1 tbls molasses
1 egg beaten with 1 tbls water
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup walnuts
Directions
Mix dry ingredients together in large bowl.
Mix wet ingredients together in medium bowl.
Combine wet into dry ingredients.
Then add the raisins and nuts.
Refrigerate mixture for 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 335 degrees - lower heat to keep honey from burning. drop by teaspoonfuls onto your baking sheet. Press down with a fork to ensure even cooking. Bake for about 15 - 20 minutes or until golden on the bottom of the cookie.
Cookies freeze well.
