Ingredients

9x12 baking dish or disposable foil pan, 8 Mission Tostadas, 4 mission corn tortillas, (you can use all corn tortillas or all tostadas, I just like the variety of textures) 1 pound extra lean ground beef (browned and drained) 4 tsp Lawry’s Taco Seasoning,2 tsp garlic powder, 2tsp onion powder, 2tbsp chili powder, 2 tsp olive oil, .25 cup whole wheat flour ( to thicken sauce) 2 tbsp fat free sour cream, 1.5 cups fancy shredded cheese

Directions

Brown the ground beef with the 2 tsp taco seasoning, the other two are for the sauce. In a separate sauce pan combine all other ingredients except flour, tostadas, tortillas, sour cream & cheese. Add one can of water to the sauce and bring to a boil. Slowly add the flour to sauce to thicken then turn to low. I like to run the ground beef thru my kitchen aide mixer to make it really fine. Mix half of the sauce with the ground beef. Add some sauce to the bottom of the baking dish then layer the cheese beef, sour cream, tortillas and sauce until the last layer is the last bit of cheese. Bake @ 375 for 25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
