Introduction

The original recipe comes in at over 700 calories!!! I found a recipe that used applesauce in place of the oil. I lightened it further using skim milk, egg substitue and sweet n' low. Came out very moist and I dusted the top with 10x sugar for the little "extra", though whipped cream or a little bit of icing would be good also...or you may enjoy just plain! Not something for everyday, but definately worth it if you just have that craving that won't go away! The original recipe comes in at over 700 calories!!! O.K.
In 2 attempts the chocolatey taste in this was not very strong. Even low carb ice cream as topping didn't work for me. I do like how it is lowfat, and low cholesterol which was the initial appeal for me. Can't really recommend. Latest attempt was 10/2020 - 10/12/12
