I've tried to update this recipe. My mother made this for us in my childhood with sugar instead of Splenda. She also used our own goat's milk. At that time I was responsible for several chores. I milked and cared for our goats and I helped Dad chop and store the wood for our wood burning stove. The original recipe was a much needed fuel for that kind of activity. Not so anymore. I can't remember the last time a gallon of milk ran away from me when I tried to open it! LOL! Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

2 C Nonfat Milk
3 T Cocoa Powder
3/4 C Granulated Splenda
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 T Cornstarch
Hot water to mix Cornstarch
Directions
Heat Milk.
Add mixture of Splenda and Cocoa.
Heat to almost boiling.
Mix Cornstarch with Hot Water in cup.
Add to pan.
Stir until thickened.
Do Not Boil.
