Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 c Wild Rice, dry
    1 c Organic Brown Rice, dry
    3 c water or broth
    4 T olive oil
    1 lb steak, thin sliced
    1 c. Yellow Onions, chopped
    1 c. Celery, diced
    1 c. Carrots, cut into match sticks
    1 c. Snowpea (Pea Pod), sliced
    1 c. Broccoli, chopped into smal flowerettes
    1 large Bell Pepper, Red, sliced
    8 T Spicy Szechuan Stir Fry Sauce (House of Tsang)
    3 Green onions, sliced

Directions

In medium sized sauce pan combine 3c of water or broth, and both of the rices. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer approx 45 min. In the mean time, in a large pan or wok, saute beef in 2 Tbl. EVOO, at high heat for 3 min to sear. Remove to a bowl. Add the rest of the EVOO to the pan and add yellow onions, celery, carrots and saute for 2 minutes. Add broccoli and saute for 1 minute. Add pea pods, bell pepper and saute for 1 more minute. Return beef to pan and add Szechuan sauce, saute 3 more minutes to warm beef and mix in sauce. Top with green onions and serve over the prepared rice.
