Introduction
This is my mom's simple recipe that doesn't require cooking the noodles ahead of time. Preheat oven to 375, cook for 45 min, let rest 10 min, then ENOY! I made it with a large portion of meat on purpose so that it would be more of a lower carb, higher protein dinner. Ingredients
1 egg
24 oz pkg of 2% cottage cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese
4 cups Spaghetti Sauce
2 Lbs. Ground Beef
Tinkyada Lasagne Brown Rice Pasta, 10 oz box
1/4 cup Parm cheese
Directions
Combine first 3 ingredients (egg, Cottage cheese, mozz cheese)
Cook meat and combine with spaghetti sauce
Layer in this order:
Noodles (uncooked)
Meat/sauce mixture
Cheese mixture
Top with Parm cheese
Bake 375 for 45 min, let rest 10 min. and serve.
Makes 12 servings.
