Ingredients

    Bag of dry black beans, 1 cup diced celery, 1 cup diced carrot, 1 cup diced onion (any color), 1 large can of crushed tomatoes, 2 cans of reduced sodium FF chicken broth -- suggested spices: salt, pepper, chili powder - to taste.

Directions

Makes 6 servings.

Rinse dry beans and start in slow cooker (coverr with enough water to make tender - 4 hours. Dice up Oscar Mayer Turkey Smoked Sausage and saute in a pan until brown. Dice up onion, celery, and carrot and add to cooked sausage. When beans are almost tender, add meat and veggies, salt, pepper, and chili powder to taste. Add can of crushed tomatoes and enough chicken broth to cover and make soup.
