Introduction

Ingredients

2 cups whole wheat flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 cup cold light margarine
2/3 cup of nonfat milk
2 teaspoons of honey
Directions
In large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt and cream of tartar; cut butter until crumbly. Stir in milk and honey just until moist.
Turn onto floured surface; knead gently 8-10 times. roll out to 3/4 in thickness; cut with a heart-shaped cookie cutter.
Place 1 inch apart on a greased baking sheet/ Bake at 450 for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm or store for later use by allowing to cool completely, place in a freezer bag and freeze until ready to heat, good for a few weeks in the freezer!
