Ingredients

    1 small head of lettuce
    1 cup of chopped onion
    1/2 cup of chopped celery
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    1 bag of frozen peas, thawed under cold water & drained
    2 cups of mayo
    2 tbs of sugar
    boiled eggs sliced
    crumbled bacon

Directions

Break up lettuce into bottom of 9x13 to from a crust base. Layer onions, celery, water chestnuts and peas over top of lettuce. "Frost" with mayo and sprinkle with cheese and sugar. Cover tightly and store for 23 hours to blend flavors. Before serving, garnish with boiled egg slices and crumbled bacon. It is really YUMMY!

    Very Good
    This was good. I did use low fat ham instead of bacon. I think it would be better with bacon. I wonder how turkey bacon would taste with it. I skipped the eggs and used low fat mayo. - 8/17/07
