Ingredients

    Meijer Organics Whole Wheat Penne- 8 oz
    Green beans- 3 cups
    Garlic- 12 cloves
    Extra Virgin Olive Oil- 3 Tablespoons
    Smart Balance with olive oil- 2 Tablespoons
    Basil- 2 tablespoons
    Parsley- 2 tablespoons
    Pepper- dash
    Salt- dash
    1/4 cup of water
    1/2 cup of Shredded Italian 3 Cheeses (Parmesan, Romano and Asiago)

Directions

Cook pasta according to directions. Meanwhile, heat oil in pan over medium heat and add chopped onion and pressed garlic cook for 3 minutes or so. Cut green beans into 1 inch pieces and add to pan along with salt pepper, and spices. Saute for 5 minutes, then add 1/4 cup of water. Turn up heat until water cooks into beans. When pasta is done, add smart balance to pan with beans until melted. Finally, add pasta and parmesan cheese and mix well.

    The onion is not mentioned until cooking instructions, so I had to guess. And it doesn't say if the herbs are fresh or dried. But it was reasonably tasty. - 11/21/16
