Introduction

This is a hearty filling soup that is easy to throw in the slow cooker and have ready when you get home! I use leftover rotisserie chicken for all my soups, but this calculation is based on chicken breast only, so the recipe might be off slightly. Ingredients

    1 can tomatoes
    1 can chili beans (or lite red kidneys)
    1 10 oz bag frozen vegies
    shredded chicken -approx 10 oz
    1/2 c green peppers, onions, celery--i like to saute first in chicken broth, but it isn't necessary if time crunched
    2 c chicken broth--low sodium msg/fat free
    1/2 c frozen corn
    1 can chickpeas
    tomato paste--1/2 can

Directions

throw everything in the cooker and leave! i divide into 8 for generous servings
