Ingredients
-
- 2 lb. Roast
- 14.5 OZ Can Cut Green Beans
- 15.25 OZ can Golden Sweet Whole Kernel Corn
- 15 OZ can Diced Potatoes
- 15 OZ can Sweet Peas
- 14.5 OZ can Slide Carrots
- 29 OZ can tomato sauce
- 2 TBSP chili powder
- 2 TBSP Tony Chacheres Original Creole Seasoning
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions
This couldn't be easier to make. The night before or the morning of, stick your roast in a crock pot on low heat. slightly cover with water.
When your roast is done, remove from crock pot and dice into cubes.
Open all your cans and simply dump them into a large pot.
Add chili powder, creole seasoning, salt, and pepper
Add beef to soup pot and allow warm up slowly.
When soup reaches desired temperature, it is ready to serve.
This is one of those recipes where the lower and slower you cook, the better it will taste in the end. I have whipped this soup up fairly quickly though, and it tastes fine.
This will taste even better as leftovers!
