    1 medium cabbage, 2 medium onions, 10 stalks of celery and 1 large sweet potatoes .25 cups of canola oil


peel and dice 2 onions and saute in canola oil over medium heat add diced celery, and diced cabbage. saute until onions are golden and carmelized. clean and dice sweet potato and add to mixture. cook about 1 hour over medium heat until all is tender, add salt and pepper to taste. add a teaspoon of cumin and a teaspoon of cinnamon. eat as is or serve over rice, or couscous
