This is my great-grandma's recipe. She used black walnuts, but I prefer pecans. I also sometimes add chocolate chips. I usually use half white and half whole wheat flour (I guess she probably used white) but I sometimes use all whole wheat and it's a bit coarser texture, but still yummy.
NOT lowfat...but so worth the calories if you love coconut! Pretty rich, so a small piece is usually enough to satisfy me.
