Tuna and pasta bake using gluten-free and lactose-free ingredients with tangy tomato sauce in middle
This is one of my favorite dishes to make because it has tons of protein and tons of veggies...and even my kids will eat it because I cut all the veggies up and put them in 1 cup bowls seperately so they can pick what they want in their packet.
2 pounds of sauerkraut with juice, place in large frying pan, add 9 ounces of cooked or canned ready to eat salmon, cover with two 15 ounce cans of unsweetened applesauce, clear a small space in the center for the fluid, bring to a boil then remove from heat, cool for a few minutes, kiss the kolbassi goodbye :)
I modified this from a fav recipe of mine to make it more protein and veggie intensive. Serve over Spaghetti Squash.
I found this recipe in a box of Biggest Loser stuff I bought. It is really good.
