this is a simple recipe - I used the recipe from the Italian turkey and spaghetti squash pie , added peppers onions and mushrooms... I use tomatoes with no salt added so the sodium is very low!
Using organic ingredients. No salt added, there is enough in the jar of sauce and the fresh parsley gives a salty taste to the meatballs without the added sodium. Serving suggestions: spoon over Spagetti Squash for a low calorie meal, or over whole wheat pasta at 180 calories per 2 ounce serving.
Recipe makes four servings, of four meatballs and 1/4 of the tomato sauce.
