this is my adaptation of tosca reno's nut butter dressing she uses with her chicken explosion recipe on page 381 of her book the eat clean diet recharged. I have changed some of the ingredients to suit my taste. I highly reccommend her book.

This is such an easy and nutritious salad to use at BBQ's.

I halved the original recipe (Tossed Salad with Creamy Garlic Dressing) and left out the salad ingredients so I can use this dressing on other salads. My gestimate is this makes one cup of dressing - 2 tbsp. per svg. = 8 svgs. Also, the original recipe used fat free sour cream and mayo., thus reducing the calories and fat even more.
I do not use sugar substitutes, but the agave nectar lowers the glycemic index and calorie count. I serve this over baby greens with red onion, strawberries, mango, and slivered almonds for a great salad.
This salad is a fan favorite and always goes when I have company! FYI - The calorie content per serving is higher than in reality because I can usually stretch the dressing to use for 2 salads... It is too much for one salad but I always make more because I make this salad often.
I came up with this taco salad when craving Mexican food for lunch. It's fast, simple, and tasty.
To make a lower-carb potato salad, substite a lot of vegetables for some of the potatoes. This contributed crunch, which means fiber. And fiber makes you feel full for a long time. The light mayo makes a good base for the dressing, but you need a little Dijon mustard to give it some kick.
