Just made this with brown sugar (1 scant cup) and whole wheat flour. Added almost a cup of chopped walnuts (SIL's request). SO delicious! Only had those foil pans, so this made 2 loaves. It is disappearing quickly, everyone loves it!
I tried this recipe. It was easy to put together. I only used 1 cup of sugar. (1/2 reg and 1/2 cup light brown sugar). I also added 1 cup of chopped walnuts. Loved how moist it was. I will defiantly make this again. Only baked for 1 hr. 10 min.
We loved this recipe! Very good, very moist! I substituted 1/2 of the sugar with Stevia and it was still very good. Will definitely be making this one again.
Loved this recipe! I used Cabot Greek Vanilla Bean yogurt and reduced the sugar 1/2 cup of sugar in the raw and 1/2 cup of brown sugar- used a 9x13- tastes better than cake! Thanks for the recipe
Just made this delicious bread. I did use a little less sugar and chunky applesauce and loved it. The chunky applesauce definitely gave it an apple taste. Dense and moist and worth making.
