I've enjoyed homemade syrup (with sugar) all my life, so the texture isn't at all what I'm accustomed to, but it is just like the texture of store bought pancake syrups. Since my sugar syrup is 194 calories per 1/4-cup and this is only 10 calories, I can get certainly get used to it! ;)
