Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This was great. I added some real lean ground turkey and more o fat Mexican cheese
OH MY HEAVENS!! We made this tonight and it will DEFINITELY go into our menu rotation!! We did add ground beef, so the nutritional value did change, but not enough to really make a huge difference or to scare us off :) Thanks for sharing!!! (the kids loved it as well)
Wow, What a great low carb substitute to one of my favorites and super simple.
Great recipe as is. I add ground beef per family request. add to pan of sautéed onion and garlic. When browned add 2 pkts. Sazon, cumin and oregano to taste. Add the beef after the 2nd layer of chilies and before the cream, eggs and salt. Add cheddar. Cook in 8X12 pan or dish. Same time and temp.
Very tasty - esp IF you're wanting mexican. I didn't have enough of the green chili's, so I added some red & orange peppers that I chopped up to make the difference.

i also added some low sugar taco seasoning - just sprinkled over the top before adding the cheese.

I did have to cook longer
made this for my husband, he is on a low carb low fat diet. was very good but to keep it vegie and low carb will add some graded zucchini and maybe a litte black beans,(filler). used fresh peppers and low fat cheese. will make again.
Yummy, yummy! This will definitely become one of my favorites on my low-carb eating plan!
My husband's family has been making this for years. It is so delicious! We like to roast and chop fresh chiles for this in place of the canned, but it is good either way. It's also delicious eaten at room temperature. It's the perfect low carb version of the traditional quiche with crust.
