You can use the brown sugar with splenda in case u dont like the cinnamon taste with margarine
These are really good, I used Splenda brown sugar, about 1/4 cup, turned out delish!
I made these as mashed sweet potatoes. I doubled the recipe and baked 4 potatoes in the oven with my roast. Peeled and mashed them. Then I added the cinnamon and vanilla with 1/4 c. brown sugar and 2 Tbls. butter. They were delicious! Thanks for sharing.
very good side dish, I added brown sugar splenda 1/4 cup omitted the regular splenda it was a nice twist.........
I haven't tried this yet but may for Thanksgiving. Instead of Splenda I will use STEVIA, a natural no-sugar/no-calorie sweetner...it's the best!
I made this dish tonight without looking at this recipe. And i used splenda too. I use splenda in everything! The only thing i did differently was to add lemon juice to it, just a tad of water to cook it down. Once done,i added a little fat free cooking spray and fried them to eliminate the water
My son is diabetic so I am sure going to try these. I love Sweet potatoes. Better for both of us and will use sugar free maple syrup.
Good, still has "sugar" in it as that is what Splenda is, correct????
You could also use the Splenda BROWN sugar Or Sugar free maple syrup as a substitute.
