Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I made this with ICBNB and low fat cheese - delicious! All my roomies loved it and it was very satisfying. Definitely something I will make again :)
245 calories for ONE side serving of mashed potatoes? You could eat an entire Lean Cuisine entree or main dish for the same amount! You have to be a serious mashed potato fan to spend that amount of calories on a single serving! Sorry! Don't think this is very healthy.
Sounds good to me. For those who think it's a "BAD" recipe because of the fat, I say, well, you can fit anything into your diet in small amounts, and it's good to have the calorie counts so you know where it can fit.
This is very similar to a recipe I make, I use fat free sour cream instead of the half and half. Cook about 1.5 hours for the full pan.
i might sound a little weird, but what is fat free half and half ??
Sounds excellent. Love the low fat version ideas! My kids would probably even eat this......
I HAVE HAD THIS. LET ME TELL YOU, IT WAS GREAT!!!!YOU CAN ALWAYS CUT DOWN ON THE CHEESE. IT IS GOOD WITH LOW FAT CHEESE.I GIVE IT A +
Doesn't it seem like this would be a very high calorie with the butter in it?
This does not seem like a good recipe for folks wanting to change to a healthier lifestyle. It could be improved for those of us watching calories, sodium and cholestrol.
