Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Really enjoyed this recipe, I put in half the mushrooms because I'm the only one that eats them. Added some seasoning salt but otherwise it was just about perfect. My husband loves stroganoff and almost licked the plate. Picky 12 year old ate everything with whole wheat penne pasta.
I really enjoyed this recipe, it has the velvety mouth feel of sumthing oh so bad for you but with allot less calories! I added 4 cloves of fresh chopped garlic ,but I'm a big garlic fan and this oulda have still been good without it. Will definately be maing this again!
Halved the recipe and used regular instead of fat-free mushroom soup. Everything else in it is so low-calorie, a little fat from the mushroom soup isn't so bad. Tasted excellent, but next time I will add garlic as many people have suggested!
To you folks adding corn (????), and removing mushrooms.... this is a stroganoff recipe? By definition it has mushrooms.

On another note the FF soup is a bit runny, so I used a low sodium, and again as abouve added just a bit of garlic, tuerns out great! Thanx for posting this hearty favorite!
Wonderful! I used lower sodium cream of mushroom soup & cooked the meat with onions, garlic,& pepper. I added garlic powder ,onion powder, & Italian seasoning when I added the mushrooms and 1/2 cup of sour cream. I served it over some egg noodles.
Made this tonight as kind of a last minute meal with what we had in the house. We loved it! I used 1 can of cream of mushroom instead. I'm not a fan of mushrooms so I sauteed them w/frozen onions and put them on top of my hubby's plate. The only seasoning I used was salt/pepper & it was great!
I had to play with this a bit-i chopped up some garlic and had to add garlic salt to it to make it taste right. i also used smart balance sour cream but only used 1/2 a cup and added a little skim milk to it because it was a very thick. otherwise, my family enjoyed it!
I took the advice of so many here to add more spices, so I did. It was very good! I added some dry mustard and that really helped. Also, I divided out my portion, to which I added fat free plain yogurt, and put real sour cream my husband's portio. He also had whole wheat pasta, I had none!
This is a really easy and good recipe. One thing I did to add a little more flavor to it is to use one can of fat free cream of mushroom and one can of fat free cream of mushroom with roasted garlic. Also added some garlic, pepper, and italian seasoning to the mean while browning.
Not really a fan. If I were to make this again, I'd add corn and subtract the mushrooms. I'd also add more spices. I wasn't sure what spice would go with it, and it tasted quite bland so I just salt and peppered it to death just to get it down. :-/ Partially my fault for not understanding seasoning.
This was the BEST i have had. You could not tell it was low fat unless you looked at the ingredients. I have a picky eater and he cleaned his plate. Thanks for sharing:)
This is a really good base for a recipe to spice up to your own taste. It's okay if the recipe is followed exactly but it definitely tastes a little too "healthy" for me. I added a little garlic salt to make it just right!
Can't get the FF but can get low sodium, will do this tonite, I've done a similar one so know this works !!
