I plan on trying this tonite. It looks really good. However, am I the only one wondering how this is only 103 calories? I calculated it out to be approx 160 calories.......
This is awesome! My wife and I split one, along with a fat free yogurt (Boston Cream Pie) that we put in the freezer right before putting the apple in the oven. Just like dutch apple pie with ice cream. Doing it that way is even fewer calories.
I usually hate eating apples, but this was great! I've eated it the last few days the microwave way and even added vanilla soy ice cream if I had some calories to spare. Yummy!
Great! A recipe for one. Finally!...Ha! I love this recipe. Just as good as apple pie without all the calories and Fat! Thanks for sharing
No need for the added sugar - baked apples are wonderfully sweet plain. I love the crackers on top idea, though!
This was delicious! I did make it in multiples as suggested below, to feed family and guests, too. Served with lowfat soy ice cream and they were all SOLD! Keep in mind, oven temps range WIDELY and that can cause a huge difference in baking times. Oven thermometer can tell you if yours is off.
This was great, I cooked it in the microwave and then topped it with sugar free maple syrup nwhen it was done.
I love baked apples and apple pie. I was a little skeptical of this recipe at first, but it was great! My daughter who was about to leave for college and never likes that isn't 'full fat' LOVED this and asked me to make it the night before she left for school. I'll be making this one often!
