My family loved this! I grilled the chicken, left out the flour and oil. Added 1 cp. onions, and 1 cp. frozen peas, and used whole wheat wagon wheels. It was fast to cook and yummy! Thank you! - 8/3/08

I also grilled the chicken. I need to cut my calorie count down somewhere and that 's the logical place. It was delicious. Even hubby liked it and he's particular! - 4/17/09

Haven't made this - YET. But I do think that instead of frying the chicken I will grill it, as it has already been suggested, which would cut some of the calories and give it a cleaner taste without the flour or oil. Thanks for sharing - 8/2/08

I didn't try this. This sounds like a great starting place for ideas. I wouldn't fry the chicken, but instead bake it in the oven or grill it. What about tossing in veggies with the wagon wheels and some seasoning. It sounds like it could be eaten cold or hot (good for summer or winter). - 8/2/08

This sounds delicious and fun to make with my 7 year old. Also, like the advice of grilling chicken to save calories. Look forward to trying this recipe soon. - 4/30/09

I will use the suggestions made and grill the chicken and use whole wheat pasta, otherwise there is not enough nutrional value to justify the calories. I make my own sauce so I know the nutrional value, I don't use sugar, salt and it has no presrvatives & I know the caloric value - Thanks 4 the idea - 4/25/09

This sounds really good-my daughter loves pasta-I am going to try with wheat pasta or pasta enriched with fiber, grilled chicken, grilled or steamed zucchini, and red or green bell peppers and parmesan cheese. Sounds like it would freeze well too for a quick weekday meal - 4/19/09

This sounds great. Will buy the wogon Wheel pasta when I shop this week. Already have some chicken breasts in the freezer. I can wait to make this. I will bake the chicken in the oven. No oil and flour for me. should cut the calories and add some peas. - 4/17/09

I would not coat the chicken but poach it instead. I think that would reduce the calories a bit. - 4/17/09

I don't make 10 portions of anything for daily use. It would be helpful if it said how much was in a portion for future recipes admitted. Other than that, sounds great! - 4/17/09
