Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    One pound of lean ground beef or turkey

    half onion diced

    two cloves garlic, minced

    1 cup of cheese

    Garlic salt, sprikle as much as you desire

    half cup of dry oatmeal

    small can of ortega chilis




Directions

Mix together hamburger meat, diced onion, minced garlic, cheese, chilis, and garlic salt.

form 5 patties, more or less

cook stove top
on the BBQ

    This recipe is really good, but the nutrition information isn't entered correctly. Don't trust the numbers. I have re-entered it with the correct calculations under the same name. You do have to add your own bun. - 2/4/09

    I made this for the family last night, I have NEVER had such an amazing hamburger in my life! This recipe has been added to my book now. All I did differently was add a bunch more seasons. Red pepper flakes, salt, pepper and a few others. This was also my first time having oatmeal in them! YUMMM! - 1/6/12
