A light fruity and nutty salad! A light fruity and nutty salad!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    4 medium apples-chopped
    3 medium celery stalks-chopped
    1 cup seedless grapes-sliced
    1 cup light strawberry yogurt
    11 whole natural almonds-chopped

Directions

Chop apples, celery and grapes.
Using a food chopper, chop almonds.
Mix all ingredients together and chill for one hour.
Now you have a light,low fat snack!

    This was DELICIOUS. I only used one large apple though and added a cup of granola and 1/3 c of raisins. Also, used vanilla yogurt. Going to try to add chicken next time for a good lunch. - 6/4/07

    I love waldorf salad...Never made it with yogurt, I usually use 1 tbsp of fat free blue cheese dressing and 1 of reduced fat miracle whip...with another a bit of reduced fat blue cheese and some cranberries...it's delish...I'll try this for a dessert type dish Thanks - 5/3/08
