Ingredients

    1 16-ounce can whole berry cranberry sauce
    1 tablespoon finely chopped shallots
    1 jalapeƱo chili pepper, seeded and finely diced
    1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
    1 tablespoon chopped cilantro leaves

Directions

1. Place all of the ingredients in a small bowl. Stir well to combine.

2. Store the salsa in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Serve at room temperature

    I made this for Thanksgiving dinner and my father-in-law ate it all! It was tangy with a hint of spicy. Definitely a GREAT alternative for canned cranberry sauce. - 12/5/08
