My meat loaf came out a little soupy -- but I only had 1 lb beef, not 1-1/2. Next time I'm going to try adding everything but the milk together, then adding only enough milk to moisten. - 2/12/09

If you are reducing the meat, you do need to reduce the milk and ketchup to compensate.

This is my new favorite meat loaf recipe - and I have tried every meat loaf out there! Husband & 4-year old LOVED it, and the consistency was perfect (not too thick but held a nice shape). The oats were a surprisingly perfect addition to make it healthier with no sacrifice to "comfort." YUM! - 11/18/08
