Ingredients

    2 tomatoes chopped
1 cup of broccoli chopped (can also use cucumber instead)
    2 tbsp sliced black olives
3-4 oz crab meat, chopped in small chunks
3-4 oz cooked shrimp. Small bag of salad shrimp is good also.
3-4 cups of whole wheat rotini noodles. (tri-colored gives nice look to dish)
.25 cup of fat free or light ranch dressing
.25 cup of fat free or light italian dressing
    1 tbsp pepper
    1 tbsp garlic powder
    1 tbsp basil or oregano
    1-2 tbsp parmesan cheese

Directions

Makes about 4-5 servings.

Thaw shrimp if frozen. Cook the rotini noodles as directed by the package. Mix all of the ingredients. Best to toss or stir lightly so that the noodles don't get mushy. Add seasoning if desired. Sprinkle parmesan on top.

Best served chilled.

I only tried a little when I made it last night and I thought it tasted awesome. I made it for a potluck at my wife's work and she said everyone loved it. I am looking forward to any leftovers brought home.I will make this for alot of our family potlucks this summer. - 2/24/10

Not a fan of raw tomatoes, so I added Sundried Tomatoes to this. I quadrupled the recipe, served at my daughters birthday party, and had multiple request for the recipe - and not much left over. Luckily, it's SUPER easy to make! Thanks Ms Lynn - this is a new favorite at my house!!! - 6/6/11

ok zeldaz51 I did this with real crab meat(because i like the real thing too) but i think it would have been just as good with imitation. It worked out wonderful and everyone loved it. I didn't add shrimp or ranch dressing, I actually did colored past as well. great recipe to tweak to your likings! - 6/22/08
