Introduction

Ingredients

    4 cups baby carrots
    2 cups celery
    2 gloves Garlic
    8 oz mushrooms
    1 large vadelia onion
    1 large green pepper
    4 medium red potatos
    2# beef, lean stew meat
    4 cups water

Directions

Chop all ingredients and place in large roasting pan. Pre-heat oven to 300. Place covered in oven for 90 min.
Can also make gravy the last 10 mins. of cook time.

    I think Angelsmithy meant for you all to add your own seasonings.... basically a good recipe. I used some dry rub on my meat with some flour and dredged it in that first. - 9/26/11

    Incredible!
    This stew was lovely. I put peas in mine, it was just delicious. Very reasonable nutrition stats on this beef stew recipe. Oh! Also added dumplings by dropping on top my baking powder drop biscuit recipe... Fantastic idea! (Careful, adds to the stats!) Thanks for your recipe! - 6/3/08
