Introduction

Ingredients

    1.25 c whole wheat flour
    2.25 tsp baking powder
    .25 tsp salt
    1 egg
    1.25 c skim milk
    nonstick spray

Directions

Mix the wet and dry ingredients seperately, then combine! The batter should be slightly lumpy. Makes 10 (4-5") pancakes...enjoy!

    Actually the carb count is what it states. If u r using syrup u have 2 take into consideration the carbs in that as well. Also a serving is 1 pancake so if u r eating more than that I can see why your blood sugar spiked up. But even if u r eating 1 pancake the syrup alone will do that. God bless :) - 4/28/15

    I"m sorry but I have to ammend my comment. While this was a very good pancake, I think the carb count must be way off because it spiked my blood sugar almost up to 300. That is so disappointing...while it is a very tasty pancake I will not be making it again :( - 12/11/11

    Use sugar free syrup, if you must have syrup. You can add flaxMeal if you like, not flaxseed, which goes right through you. There are a lot of recipes for pancakes made with almond flour, too. Pr oatbran. - 4/29/17

    These were ok. Something different for breakfast and low calorie which was nice. I did make some changes. I used almond milk instead of skim, added 1/8 cup Stevia, 1 tsp vanilla, and 1 cup blueberries. The blueberries saved them. They would not have been very good without the blueberries in my opini - 2/3/17

    These came out better than any pancake recipe I've ever made, light or not. I used one c. 2% milk and 1/4 c. water (because I had less millk than I thought, ha ha) and added 1 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Light and fluffy, and I ate five without feeling guilty. 5 stars :) - 11/18/11

    Made for Breakfast this morning. I love whole wheat pancakes, however these were a little "plain". All you could taste essentially was whole wheat flour. My husband and son did not like them.
