Introduction

Have you ever looked at the nutritional info on the back of a frozen chicken pot pie? You should.

Makes four servings

Really good way to satisfy your hearty meal craving without being too hearty on the calories and fat.

If you are really creative you can make this when you have leftover veggies and chicken!
**Add what ever 98% Fat Free Soup you like such as Cream of Mushroom, Cream of Celery, etc.
The sodium content on this is not with the low sodium soup I used. I will update it when I get a new can.

Made this last night and the whole family loved it! I have four children, so I doubled it, and added some thyme, onion, and pepper for flavoring. Even my picky 6yoa ate up! Thank you! - 3/12/09

This recipe was amazing! I used the healthy request cream of chicken soup & It tastes just like the fattening sodium packed Marie Calenders! I will make this over and over again. Thanks soo much for sharing! - 3/14/09

Thanks! If you want to you can also put it in a slow cooker and serve with a wheat roll. It is a great way to use leftover chicken.

This one's a keeper. I used the left overs from Roasted Lemon Herb Chicken, added some dried minced onion flakes and some thyme to the recipe. It was nearly impossible to stop with just one portion. - 3/17/09

Doubled the ingredients to make 8 servings even though my friend and I didn't need that much it was very filling. It's great how it is, but next time I'm going to put some diced potatoes in. Thanks for sharing. - 3/17/09

While I missed the flakiness of pie crust and I think I added too many veggies so that there wasn't quite enough sauce, it was great! I added broccoli, peas, carrots, lima beans, potatoes, thyme, and cooking wine. I used a combo of 3 condensed soups (celery, chick, mushroom). I'm full and happy! :) - 3/18/09

This has made my favorites list. I am not an experienced cook so this recipe was great for me. I used whole wheat pancake mix instead of Bisquick for the fiber and tastes just great. Thanks! - 3/16/09

I would like to make this w/o the egg beaters-are they just for the Bisquick mixture? - 3/16/09

    Reply from XOBELLA527 (3/17/09)
Yes. You add it to the bisquick to make the topping.

I didn't include seasoning because I don't know what others like. I typically add ground pepper and thyme.

Thanks! I really like it. I live near Philadelphia and it is great to eat when it is cold outside. I usually only cook for one or two and I am not a fan of recipes with 12 servings. The calorie count stays the same if you exchange the fta free cream of chicken with other fat free cream soups!

I made this last night for dinner for me and a friend. Yummy! The one thing I changed is that I have a Pampered Chef mini-loaf stone. It bakes 4 loaves at once. Rather than putting it in an 8-in square pan, I put each serving in it's own loaf section. It was easier dividing the portions. - 1/20/11

Used deep-dish pie crusts cuz I do not care for Bisquick. Left the milk & egg out; Used cr. of mushroom & cr. of chicken & apx a cup of leftover turkey gravy. Oh, I also made this with the leftover turkey from Thanksgiving instead of chicken. Bit of garlic, onion powder, dash of soy sauce...delish - 11/30/10

This recipe is very tasty but I figured out the calories on the recipe calculator myself with the cream of chick and mush. soups I was using. This recipe has 1700mg os Na which is very high. I used cream of mushroom low Na & cream of chick. healty request. My total for the recipe came to 626. - 1/27/10

Had to add a lot of salt - the healthy soup isn't as flavorful as the regular stuff. But otherwise this was a tasty recipe, and easy to do. We just baked half a recipe for two people, and it turned out fine - except that the portions are so generous I couldn't finish my serving! - 1/14/10

This is delicious. I used cream of mushroom with herbs. I added some thyme but it probably didn't even need it since the soup already had herbs in it! I also used a generic biscuit mix and left out the egg product. Also added potatoes... they need to be fully cooked if you do this. - 12/26/09

This is SO good, and didnt take much time to prepare. I just grabbed a cooked whole rotisserie chicken from the grocery store on the way home so that I wouldnt have to cook the chicken, and used a bag of frozen mixed vegetables. - 3/26/09

Made this the other night with rotiserrie chicken and added thyme and garlic powder to the crust. It was tasty, but one serving was definately not enough to be full and even with reduce sodium soup it was a killer. Will keep on hand for emergencies though. - 3/26/09

I believe the nutritional value listed for this recipe is incorrect (at 338.1 calories/serving, etc.). In the Ingredient Details, fat free cream of broccoli soup is listed instead of reduced fat baking mix. You might want to check the nutritional info before making this recipe. - 3/19/09

    Reply from XOBELLA527 (3/22/09)
Thanks! Actually I had to remove that for a few days because the Sparker didn't properly enter the nutritional value for it. They had it at like 10 calories which is obviously incorrect.
