This is a Raw food recipe for a green smoothie This is a Raw food recipe for a green smoothie
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 cup fresh apple juice
    1 or 2 bananas
    1 head romaine (or red leaf) lettuce
    Apple pie spice powder to taste (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg)
    1 Tbsp. ground flax seed

    *you can also toss in half an avocado for creaminess


Directions

Blend everything in a high-speed blender.
If to rich or thick, add some water and blend again.
Sprinkle the ground flax seed on top

    Very Good
    I replaced the lettuce with spinach and added lemon grass - I have a power blender and did not notice any chunks. - 6/4/11
