Introduction

Grilling the veggies first is something a friend of mine did. I make this once a week. The whole family loves it and we eat it on everything. Grilling the veggies first is something a friend of mine did. I make this once a week. The whole family loves it and we eat it on everything.

Ingredients

    8-10 tomatillos, smaller is better, peeled and washed
    2 serrano peppers
    1 jalapeno pepper
    2 cloves garlic
    1/3 med. onion
    1/2 c fresh cilantro
    salt to taste

Directions

Put all veggies except garlic and cilantro on hot gill. Cook until skins are charred and tomatillos are soft to touch. Put everything but salt in blender. Blend until large pieces are broken down. Add salt 1 Tbsp at a time until desired flavor. Fresh lime juice optional.
