Ingredients

    1 (1/2 oz. package) Frieda's Dried Japones Chiles, rehydrated according to package directions
    1 (8-oz.) can Hunt's Tomato Sauce, no salt added
    1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Makes about 9 ounces or 18 tablespoons

Remove stems and seeds from chiles; chop finely. Place chiles in blender or food processor with tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Process for 1 minute. Refrigerate.

May be added to rice or pasta or any dish to spice it up.
