Introduction
Adapted from the AWW 1000 Best- I've cut the butter and used low fat milk to lower the calories. Great for those chilly winter nights when all you want is good wholesome food. Ingredients

30g unsalted butter
1 medium brown onion, sliced thinly
1/4 cup plain flour
2 cups milk, warmed
150g baby spinach
425g of tuna in spring water, drained
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
Mash
400g potatoes, chopped
(recipe calls for 300g celeriac but I didn't have any so I've used whatever was in the fridge)
3/4 cup chopped celery
1/2 chopped green beans
2 tbs milk
1/4 grated parmesan cheese
Directions
1. Make the mash and preheat grill.
Boil, steam or microwave the veges until tender, drain. Mash the potato and add other vege in a large bowl with milk until smooth. Stir in cheese, cover to keep warm.
2. Melt butter in saucepan, cook onion, stirring for about 5min or until soft. Add flour and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles. Gradually add milk, stir until mixture boils and thickens. Remove from heat, stir in spinach tuna and juice.
3. Spoon tuna mixture in shallow 1.5L flameproof dish, top with mash. Place under grill until browned slightly.
