Introduction

This was my mothers Sauerkraut and Pork Recipe. This is extrememly good and not too rough on the old diet if eaten in moderation This was my mothers Sauerkraut and Pork Recipe. This is extrememly good and not too rough on the old diet if eaten in moderation
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3lb. Pork Sirloin Roast
    32oz. Jar of Silver Floss Sauerkraut
    2 chopped cloves of Garlic
    1 tsp salt
    1 tbsp. Fresh Cracked Pepper.
    1 Cup Brown Sugar
    3 Cups of Water

Directions

Cook pork roast until well done. I cook mine in a crock pot for at least 8 hours with 2 cups of fresh water with Garlic, Salt and Pepper. Once Roast is done poor off excess fat and water. Shred pork with knife. Pour in 2 cups of fresh water. Add Sauerkraut and Brown sugar. bring back to a boil and simmer an additional 60minutes.
