Ingredients

    1 lb. asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
    12 oz. whole wheat pasta shells
    1 1/2 cups baby peas (fresh or frozen)
    1 tbsp. garlic-infused olive oil
    3 scallions, thinly sliced
    1 cup fresh basil, chiffonaded
    1/2 cup coarsely chopped mint leaves
    1 tbsp. lemon zest
    3 oz. crumbled feta

Directions

1.) Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add asparagus and cook 4 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Remove asparagus to a serving bowl with a slotted spoon.

2.) Add pasta to boiling water, cook 8 minutes. Add peas, return water to a boil, and cook another 3 minutes. Reserve 1/4 cup cooking water, then drain the pasta and peas. Return to pot, add cooking water, asparagus, oil, onions, herb, and lemon zest.

3.) Transfer to serving bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with feta cheese and enjoy!
