A great alternative to hot oatmeal for breakfast with loads of flavor. A great alternative to hot oatmeal for breakfast with loads of flavor.
Number of Servings: 1


    1/4 c Quick oats
    1/2 c nonfat milk
    1/2 c Orange Juice with calcium or another juice of your choice such as Dole Orange Peach Mango
    1/2 c ice cubes
    50 grams of frozen banana (about 1/3 of a large banana)
    1 T Splenda (or to taste)


Make sure you peel and freeze the banana the night before. I usually cut mine into 50 g chunks and wrap in Saran Wrap before tossing in the freezer.

Throw all the ingredients in a blender and pulverize until smooth.
